Cancellation Protocols

All Colour appointments require a successfully completed Allergy Alert Test. 48 Hours notice required for cancellations, reschedules without charge Deposits may be required to secure bookings. Deposits become forfeit for late notice, late rescheduling requests and No-Shows

HOW TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT
Cancellations can now be managed online. This is usually the fastest way to check make changes to your appointment.

FEES
Appointments canceled within 48 hours or for which guests have failed to attend may incur a charge of 50% - 70% of the service amount.
 
DEPOSITS
A deposit maybe charged at 20-50% of the appointment charge. The deposit amount will be a minimum of £30.
A deposit may be required to secure your booking. If you haven’t paid the required deposit 48 hours before your appointment, your booking will be automatically canceled.  Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations or date changes made within less than 48 hours of the appointment time and also for no-shows.
 
ALLERGY ALERT TESTS [AAT]
The Salon Of Chi reserves the right to refuse to perform certain hair services on individuals who have not completed the necessary Allergy Alert Test. This is both to protect the salon and the individual.
New guests booking technical hair colouring services are required to complete an Allergy Alert Test [AAT] 2-5 days prior to your chosen colour appointment. This is repeated every six months.
Guests who fail to arrange or attend the AAT may have their hair colour service cancelled or rescheduled without notice. Any deposit paid will be forfeited in these circumstances. 
 
GROUP BOOKING CANCELLATIONS
Group bookings of three (3) or more people require a notice period of 72 hours (3 days). For each guest that fails to show without required notice a charge of 50% of the service amount will be incurred. This may result in the loss of any deposit money paid.
 
LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
If the time between making the booking and attending the appointment is within 48 hours of the appointment then the booking may instead be cancelled or modified at least 4 hours before the appointment time to avoid a charge of 50% of the service amount.

 
LATENESS
Late arrival may incur service changes to your appointment to deliver a service within the remaining time.
 
NO-SHOW
Lateness of 15 minutes or more into your scheduled appointment time is considered a “No-Show” and may be charged up to 75% of the service cost.

Punctuality Please

Late arrivals may receive a reduced or altered service. In the event that you prefer to reschedule rather than reduce the service you may forfeit the deposit and required to pay an a new deposit on the new appointment date / time
